We have lived and worked in Fuerteventura for several years and have recently formed the limited company AVM Kitchens Plus SL, bringing together a team of experienced craftsmen with various skills.

We pride ourselves on our personal contact with clients, finding out exactly what is required.

Quality is our main aim rather than quantity, but quality with good value for money.

We are willing to meet you in your new home or holiday accommodation to discuss your plans and ideas. We are also happy to show you work that we have already completed, plus our extensive range of door styles and colours, and a selection of 32 granite colours and some formica samples for your worktops.

The Plus part of our name covers lighting, ceiling fans, electrical and plumbing alterations, fitting out wardrobes, bathroom accessories, curtain poles – the list goes on…

Perhaps you would like to relax in one of our jacuzzi hottubs? We have a range of three sizes available, and you are invited to try them out in the privacy of our garden!

After leaving school in the last millennium I trained as an electrician, part of that training included learning plumbing skills as well. Further education as an apprentice enabled me to qualify for two City & Guilds certificates and continue on to an ONC. I started my own business at the tender age of 23, and now at the age of fifty-ahem (don’t look too closely at the photo!) and with a wealth of practical experience, have made the move to sunnier climes with my partner, Val. Together we formed AVM Kitchens Plus, and we look forward to meeting you soon.

In my previous life in the UK I worked in the financial industry, both before and after bringing up the family, so it is the hours spent in the kitchen that qualifies me as our kitchen designer! I enjoy meeting clients and discussing their ideas, and will plan a kitchen to suit their requirements. All Alan and the team have to do is build it!
